HEaling POWERS OF WATER
SPEND SOME TIME RELAXING NEAR WATER TO FIND YOUR INNER PEACE

Nothing beats spending time along the coast line in my book. Being based out of Tucson I make it over to the California coast whenever possible. The ocean always seems to uplift my mood and bring me peace. Photo top left is overlooking Dinosaur Caves Beach.

Lakes also hold a special place in my life. When I can't make it to the coast, my home state of Arizona has numerous lakes within a few hours drive. They can sometimes be even more calming than the ocean depending on my mood. Photo bottom left is actually in California though, Millerton Lake.

If you haven't, try spending an afternoon sitting at the lake or ocean. Breath deeply and let your worries slide away.

Feel Big & Strong like General Sherman

As I spend more time in nature and traveling I feel like I continue to grow stronger and stronger as a person. When we travel it is inevitable that we will encounter challenges and struggles to overcome.

As you think about and find different ways to overcome these challenges you inherently expand your perspective. This also comes as you meet new people from different cultures. This is even true while traveling within the United States or your home country.

Even just leaving your hometown to that city an hour or two away can feel like an escape from your stresses and worries and has the potential to become an adventure.

The General Sherman is the world's largest tree by volume.

- Estimated at 2,300-2,700 years old.

- Height of 275 feet.

- Diameter of 36 feet.

-Making for a trunk volume of 52,500 cubic feet.
